At Al-Baqir Centre, our mission is to instil a deep love and reverence for the Holy Qur’an in the hearts of every learner. Through guided recitation, reflection, and understanding, we nurture a strong spiritual connection with the Qur’an and help students embark on a lifelong journey of faith and growth.
At the core of our programme is the science of Tajwīd - the precise art of Qur’anic pronunciation, rhythm, and melody. Mastery of Tajwīd allows students to recite confidently and correctly, fostering familiarity, love, and awe for the sacred words of Allah ﷻ. This forms the foundation of our Qur’an school curriculum.
Our Qur’an School caters to learners aged 5 to 13, and is delivered through both weekday and weekend programmes, structured across three progressive levels: Beginners, Primary, and Secondary. Each stage is thoughtfully designed to support students in developing their recitation skills, understanding Qur’anic principles, and integrating its teachings into their daily lives. Lessons are complemented by a parallel Islamic Studies programme, tailored to their age and learning level.
We are proud to have a dedicated team of experienced and qualified teachers, passionate about Qur’anic education and Islamic knowledge. Their commitment ensures each child receives the guidance and care they need on their journey through the Qur’an.
